    Come grow with us!  We are looking to hire a Project Engineering Manager to work in our corporate headquarters located in St. Michael, MN. 

     

    If you are hired for this role as a Project Engineering Manager you will be responsible for managing our water treatment equipment projects from contract origin to commissioning.  U.S. Water Engineering and Equipment team works on a range of project types.  Projects require large amounts of communication with project team and clients including contractors.  As a project manager it is imperative that you are professional and own the team’s success.

     

    Key areas of success:

    • Define project scope and quality requirements
    • Execution of deliverable schedule
    • Ensure quality requirements execution
    • Maintain or improve project margin & budget
    • Manage project delivery and commissioning

    Responsibilities

    • Define project scope and develop schedule
    • Define project stakeholders
    • Hold kickoff meeting and communicate responsibilities of all team members
    • Identify potential risks
    • Travel to customer office(s), jobsite, supplier facilities as required (this is limited)
    • Manage client expectations through course of contract execution
    • Support of project team
    • Manage communication plan
    • Manage and oversee execution of project deliverables and gain approval as required to execute material procurement and construction.
    • Communicate with design, production and suppliers to maintain scope
    • Change management through project execution
    • Work with site personnel for delivery and coordinate installation technicians for equipment commissioning

    Qualifications

    • 0 – 3 years’ experience in similar role
    • Passion for project management discipline
    • Must have a Bachelor of Science Degree prefer a Civil, Chemical or Mechanical Engineering degree
    • Self-Motivated, detail oriented and has strong leadership qualities
    • Strong communication capabilities and ability to identify need for intervention
    • People management and ability to solve design and communication problems
